About Aquarius Design

A focused studio building digital homes that hold.

Aquarius Design is the one-person studio behind Lighthouse, a custom Digital Home where your brand and your intelligence layer live as one. It exists for the people doing meaningful work, ready to stop renting their presence and start owning it.

The person behind the studio

One person. Both layers.

I am Oliver, the designer and the engineer behind Aquarius Design. When we work together, there is no account manager, no handoff between teams, no translation loss. The person you talk to on the discovery call is the person who shapes your brand, builds your site, and wires the intelligence layer underneath it.

I spent a decade split across the two halves of this industry, designing brands on one side and engineering the systems that run them on the other. Lighthouse is what happened when I stopped choosing between them.

A decade, in four stops

  1. The design yearsBrands, identities, and the craft of making work feel like its owner.
  2. The systems yearsBackends, data, and the machinery that actually runs a business.
  3. The gapWatching the two halves get built by different hands, and never meet.
  4. Aquarius DesignOne studio holding both layers. One home at a time.

Origin Story

Most digital presences are built like rentals. Your work deserves a home.

Two halves of the industry that never meet. One studio built to bridge them. That gap, and the home I built to close it, in two chapters.

Chapter 01 · The Gap

Where I come from

Two halves of the industry that never meet.

You have something real to share. Knowledge, craft, ideas, a service shaped by years of refining it. And yet the place where that work lives online almost never reflects the depth of it. A landing page here. A scheduler there. A newsletter on a third platform. None of it owned. None of it cohesive. None of it really yours.

That gap is what I built this studio to close. For too long the industry has been split in two. Designers build beautiful sites that sit there like decoration, disconnected from the tools that actually run the business. Technical builders construct the plumbing, but leave the brand feeling cold, generic, machine-made. You end up with two halves that never meet, a presence that looks one way and runs another, and neither one is really yours.

A presence that looks one way and runs another. Neither one really yours.

Chapter 02 · What I Built

Why Lighthouse exists

One studio, both layers, one Digital Home.

I built Aquarius Design to bridge that gap with a single offer: Lighthouse, a Digital Home. The front of the home is your brand made visible. The back of the home is the intelligence layer, your Brand Wiki, your content graph, your leads, your data, your agents. Both are designed together, by the same hands, with the same vision flowing through both.

I design from the inside out. Before any visual work begins, we go deep together on what you stand for, who you serve, and what you want them to do. Everything else flows from there. Clarity into form. Vision into structure. A presence you own, on ground you own, built to hold for the long view.

Clarity into form. Vision into structure. Built to hold for the long view.

How we work

A small studio.A deliberate process.One home at a time.

We take on three Lighthouse builds each quarter. That number is not a marketing line, it is the math of doing the work well.

The Aquarius way

This is craft work, and a digital home is built to fit its owner, like a custom designed house shaped to your work, your voice, your way of operating. From the first conversation to the day you get the keys, you work directly with the person designing and building your home. From your vision to your digital real estate.

Discovery first, always · Inside out, never outside in · One studio, both layers · Built to be handed over

What we stand for

01

A digital presence should be owned, not rented.

Building your entire business on platforms that can change their rules tomorrow is not a strategy, it is a vulnerability. Your home should belong to you, including the brand inside it and the data underneath it.

02

Clarity is the most underrated form of design.

Your audience does not need more noise. They need to understand who you are, what you do, and what to do next. A well-built home gives that to them at a glance, without pretense and without friction.

03

Vision has to flow into form.

I do not start with templates. I start with what you stand for and who you serve. The home gets shaped around that, not the other way around. Anything else is decoration.

04

Homes need to be built for the web that is coming.

AI agents are reading, summarizing, and recommending sites every day. A Lighthouse is built to shine for the human web and the agent web. That is what building for the long view actually looks like.
